Best Weight Loss with Hypnosis

Over-eating is of then the result of years of poor eating habits, and bad habits are difficult to break on your own. Most people who are overweight have been able to lose weight at one time or another in their lives, yet for no apparent reason they may gain it back. And no wonder! When you try to make changes through dieting or "willpower," you are only using the conscious part of your mind. A full 88% of your mind is in the area of your subconscious. No wonder when you try to make a big change through "willpower," you find it difficult or impossible--only 12% of your mind power is working for you!

Hypnotism is a way to get 100% of your brain power working WITH YOU, to achieve the goals you desire!

Through the use of hypnosis, suggestions are given that will cancel out your negative patterns--those "bad habits." Once the negative habit has been removed, suggestions are then given that will start a new positive habit of health eating and enjoying exercise. With hypnosis, you will be able to keep the weight off even after the initial weight loss. Hypnosis, when practiced by a legitimate provider, is approved for clinical use by the American Medical Association.

Most importantly for you, there is proof of the effectiveness of adding hypnotherapy to your weight loss efforts. Clinical studies showing how hypnosis helps with weight loss are irrefutable:

In a 9-week study of two weight management groups (one using hypnosis and one not using hypnosis), the hypnosis group continued to get results in the two-year follow-up, while the non-hypnosis group showed no further results (Journal of Clinical Psychology, 1985).

In a study of 60 women separated into hypnosis versus non-hypnosis groups, the groups using hypnosis lost an average of 17 pounds, while the non-hypnosis group lost an average of only .5 pounds (Journal of Consulting and Clinical Psychology, 1986).

A study comparing the results of adding hypnosis to weight loss treatment showed that adding hypnosis increased weight loss by an average of 97% during treatment, and even more importantly increased the effectiveness POST TREATMENT by over 146%. This shows that hypnosis works even better over time (Journal of Consulting and Clinical Psychology, 1996).

Weight loss doesn't have to be a battle. Get 100% of the power of your mind working FOR you by adding hypnosis or hypnotherapy to your weight loss program today!

Reactions to My Weight Loss

I just returned from a week-long conference in Florida. My husband and I have been going to this conference for about 38 years and I've made many friends. But some of the comments I received about my recent weight loss weren't friendly at all.

"Are you anorexic?" one friend asked. The question shocked me. She didn't even say "hello" or that it was good to see me again. I'm not anorexic; I've worked hard to lose 25 pounds and get back to my college weight.

"You don't eat much, do you?" another friend queried. This question also shocked me. What I eat is my decision. Believe me, I eat lots of food, and I've learned to make good food choices. I've also learned to judge restaurant serving sizes and leave food on my plate or take leftovers home.

"Do you diet all the time?" someone asked. No, I'm not on a diet, I'm on a personal fitness program that includes lots of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, normal protein servings, and daily walks. Right now I'm trying to incorporate more stretches into my fitness routine.

Fortunately, the questions I was asked were balanced with positive comments. Several friends told me how good I looked. Others asked for eating tips and recipes. Of course I was asked what size I wore. (I usually wear size eight.) The positive comments led to discussions about obesity in America.

During the conference my husband and I went to a theme park with friends. The theme park shows were spectacular. The number of obese people we saw was also spectacular. There were hundreds of people on motorized carts and, to facilitate traffic flow, the park staff had them park in rows. "I've never seen so many obese people!" a friend from Australia exclaimed. Neither had I.

Americans are so used to seeing overweight and obese people we seem to have lost the concept of normal weight. Clothing manufacturers are making "relaxed fit" clothing for kids. Many health experts say we're in the midst of an obesity epidemic, but we're actually in the midst of an endemic - a physical condition confined to a population or region.

Corrective health measures have not halted the American obesity endemic.

I think we should cheer for the folks who achieve a healthy weight. My doctor is cheering for me, I know that. When I had my last checkup she praised me for the steps I had taken. "You did everything I recommended," she said, "and it shows." Though I'm a grandma, I'm in better condition than many teens.

What can you say to someone who has lost weight? You may ask them why they did it. In my case, my blood sugar was slightly elevated and my doctor told me to lose a few pounds to prevent diabetes. Depending on how well you know the person, you may ask them how many pounds they lost and how they did it. Their tips may help you.

You may also praise the person for taking responsibility for his or her health. When all is said and done, reaching a healthy weight and maintaining that weight is up to you. Nobody can do it for you. Many health resources have been developed to help you achieve your health goals. Small steps, such as drinking water instead of soda pop, can have significant results.

The next time you talk with someone who has lost weight I hope you will be supportive. I also hope you maintain a healthy weight. Here's to you and your good health!

A New Weight Loss Plan and a New Job Go Hand in Hand

If you are one of the thousands of people who started a new job this week or moved on to higher pursuits in your career, I would like to say congratulations and a job well done.

Now most people upon starting a new position will want to look their very best and continue to do so after the initial interviews and hiring process. You probably want a brand new wardrobe but realize that if you were a few pounds lighter there would be more styles to choose from.

And whether you say this out loud or not, you know in your heart that if you were 10, 20, 30 or more pounds slimmer that you would not only look better but importantly, feel a world of a difference as far as your body's health.

Of course, now that you have a new career position, you may be busy for a while which is certainly understandable. But keep in mind that you have 336 half hours week in and week out. And of those half hours, you really only need 5 of them to enjoy walking. You will see and feel the difference.

Perhaps you can go walking before or after work with your kids or friends in the neighborhood. There's nothing like being outside in the fresh air and enjoying the sunlight that gives us the necessary vitamin D.

Or how about this idea: Instead of eating lunch at your desk or a lunchroom table, take your new diet and eat standing up and finishing your lunch with a walk with fellow employees. That would be a fun way to get to know your new associates on the job on a more informal basis.

Above all else, one needs to stop complaining about their weight problems and more importantly stop making excuses. If one starts taking responsibility for their change of diet and exercise, the mental battle has already been won.

All that is left is making time to walk and we're only talking a half an hour a day five times per week. And don't forget that this could be real quality time with your family, friends or fellow employees.

So, make your decision to look and feel better today. Then you can start celebrating with that new wardrobe or gift that you've been wanting with that new found money from your exciting new career.

5 Secrets to Lasting Weight Loss

Are you ready to stop yo-yo dieting? We have all read countless studies and know from experience that often, keeping the weight off is as much of a challenge as losing it. Here are 5 secrets to shedding those extra pounds and keeping them off.

1. Individualize - Find what works for you, this may take some trial and error but in the long run it pays off. Lets face it all diets work when you follow them.... but can you live your life with the eating plan? Find a plan that you can not only live with but enjoy. You can do this by assessing what has and hasn't worked in the past, what your food preferences are, and looking for healthy ways to incorporate them into an eating plan.

2. Choose - We all have a choice about what we eat. Choose smart calories - healthy carbohydrates like whole grains, fruit,& vegetables, - low fat proteins like chicken breast, fish, & low fat yogurt, - healthy fats like omega 3 (salmon, nuts, flax seed). You can enjoy your food and feel full.

3. Carbohydrates - The thing is carbohydrates are good for you, if you choose the right ones. Sugar and highly refined flour wreak havoc on your blood sugar causing you to be hungry again very quickly. Studies have shown choosing the good carbohydrates (fruit, veggies, whole grains) over the refined ones (soda, cookies, white bread) can help you to lose up to 10 pounds in a year even if you don't cut calories.

4. Move It - Exercise is important to weight loss and maintaining weight. Every bit counts, if you can't find 30 - 45 minutes in one chunk break it down into 15 minute segments. Be sure to include strength training in your exercise regime to get the double benefit of toned muscle and increased resting metabolism. Start where you are and appreciate all that you body does each and every day. Honor your body by taking care of it.

5. Haunting Habits - Be on the alert for habit creep, the insidious slide back to the habits that helped you gain the weight. Be alert and keep the good habits you've developed from being consumed by the old ones. Schedule regular maintenance check ups with yourself... whats working , whats not, do the clothes still fit the same, are your goals still reflective of what you really want?

The Best Weight Loss Technique Most People Don't Know About

If you're looking to lose weight this year then you're probably looking for the best ways to go about achieving that goal. You might already know that the key to fat loss is to eat less. More specifically, the best way to achieve fat loss is to eat less calories than you burn. Sounds simple, right?

Well, yes and no. The fact is, many people have no idea how many calories they consume in a day. Most people are virtually clueless about how many calories are in that grande peppermint mocha or handful of tortilla chips. They might cut down on their intake of sweets and increase their veggie servings, but it's what goes on in between meals that really sets dieters back.

Think about it this way: a serving of tortilla chips is roughly 130 calories in about 13 chips. (Actual count will vary by brand and type.) That's 10 calories per chip. If you pass through the kitchen and grab a handful on your way out the door, you could be adding 50-60 calories to your daily intake. Do that every day and you could gain 6 pounds by the end of the year!

Another thing that often trips up dieters is going out to eat. Unless you know the right foods to select, a typical restaurant meal can average 1500-2000 calories. Did you know that at the popular restaurant chain Red Robin, a single small slice of their carrot cake dessert is a whopping 700 calories! (You'll have to go in the back freezer and look on the packing box to find that out!)

So what's the single best way to lose weight? It's simpler than you think: keep a food journal. Studies have shown that people who kept a food journal were almost guaranteed to lose weight. This is because people become much more aware of their daily calorie intake. Combined with a decent guide on calorie counts in foods then you will be well on your way to limiting your daily intake.

Worried About Weight Loss After Pregnancy?

Well you can now stop worrying about all those extra pounds that you will put on during pregnancy. New generation moms can easily get back their pre-pregnancy figure within a year.. With the right daily regime, workouts and a good diet; now getting pregnant does not mean getting fat.

However the right diet does not mean that you start dieting right after you deliver. Whether or not you are breast feeding, the first few months you should concentrate on nourishing yourself through a proper diet. You can start exercising along with a good diet intake. After a couple of months, your body returns to its normal level and then you can start your loosing weight. You can take weight loss tips from new moms who have lost weight after pregnancy.

How Many Months Before I Return To My Normal Weight?

Weight gain during nine months is in the normal limits (20 - 30 pounds) then you should be able to lose weight in less than a year. This process takes time but ensures that your weight loss is at the right pace and safe. Post pregnancy period usually leaves the new moms low on self esteem. Some would be still coping with massive weight gain; some would constantly worry about milk stains on their clothes. Many women might not get enough time to take even a proper bath. Women do tend to get depressed for these reasons and do not know how cope with the change in their life. Many women constantly worry about sex after long nine months. They do not feel very comfortable indulging in intercourse as their body is out of shape.

These problems can be easily dealt with if you work towards your goal with a healthy weight loss regime. Pregnancy weight loss should be planned in consultation with your doctor. You should also keep in mind your physical condition before making a diet or exercise plan.

Exercising Helps

As a balanced diet plays a vital role in weight loss, exercise also plays a major part. Exercising however should not be started without the doctor's consultation. Exercise helps in post pregnancy weight loss. It also helps to increase your self confidence and lends you a hand if you are dealing with depression. Exercising affects breast milk is a myth and you should not bother about it.

Weight Loss Through Breastfeeding

  • Breastfeeding also helps moms' lose weight. Breast feeding releases hormones which help your body to return to its normal level which in turn helps you regain your normal weight.
  • Breastfeeding is not a fool-proof method of weight loss after pregnancy. In most cases, women start losing weight only after they stop breast feeding.
  • Also relying on breast feeding may make you careless towards your diet and workout routine.
  • You can go on a low fat diet even if you are breast-feeding. Do ensure that you are taking at least 1800-2000 calories per day.
  • Remember that your body has gone through a lot of strain and changes. Post pregnancy care is very important for your body to heal and also to ensure weight loss after pregnancy.

Weight loss tips are very much in demand. Weight loss is an area of concern after the pregnancy period. A lot of weight gain during pregnancy, can scare women to go for crash diets. But with the right daily regime, workouts and a good diet, weight loss after pregnancy can be achieved.

Toe Tap Your Way to Weight Loss

Toe Tap Your Way to Weight Loss, sounds silly, doesn't it? It does, I admit it. Yet, could there be a kernel of truth there?

How could someone toe tap their way to weight loss? Let's backup a bit. I remember watching a documentary on TV about the obese. There was a study done and something amazing was discovered. Of course, obese people often have different habits from skinny people. I'm not talking about eating habits here, either. The habits discovered in this study had to do with what the two different body types did while sitting around.

Muscles use energy, even when they are not being used. This is good for weight loss because it is a nifty way to lose calories while doing nothing. Unless, of course, you are sitting there eating, in which case you are most likely gaining calories.

What they found was that skinny people tend to fidget a lot, they do things like shaking their leg while sitting. You probably remember someone like that from high school. Remember the guy that sat there shaking his leg all the time, he couldn't sit still!

Thus, he and other skinny people burn a lot more calories while sitting around. You could take advantage of this too!

Here are some ideas. Move around while sitting, fidget, change positions a lot. Actually shake your leg up and down, stretch frequently, pace. These are all calorie burning activities. At least you will use more calories then sitting there without moving at all.

You can also tense and relax the major muscle groups, this might even trigger a feeling of relaxation, almost like a massage would. What do I mean by major muscle groups? The upper arms and shoulders, abdominals, thigh and gluteal muscles, these are all muscles that you could tense and relax repeatedly. Since they are relatively large muscle groups, they will expend relatively more energy. This might even have a slight toning affect at the same time.

True, this alone is not going to solve the weight problem for you, but perhaps it can help. There are indeed many more things that go into weight loss such as drinking plenty of water, eating MORE frequently, working out, eating properly, getting enough protein and essential fats. These are all important and helpful components to losing weight.

That is the point. Weight loss is not some simple formula that you can apply. It is certainly not some fad diet. There is a lot too it. The more you know, the more you can apply your knowledge and make small adjustments during your day. The more knowledge that you have the closer to success you can bring yourself.

It would be helpful to get your hands on as much weight loss knowledge as you can. You don't have to rely on one source only. Just like it was a valid strategy for Bruce Lee to adopt the tactics of multiple fighting styles, it wouldn't hurt to absorb weight loss information from more than one source.

This does bring up a problem, who can you count on to bring you good information? It seems to me that there is a lot of information out there that might be less than helpful. I know of a source or two that can bring you good information on weight loss. More on that later.

This article is for information purposes only and is not intended to serve as weight loss or any other kind of advice. You should also contact your doctor if you have or think you have a health problem of any kind. Your doctor can provide proper diagnosis and treatment.

Which Weight Loss Programs Are Right For You?

No, Weight Loss Programs in the title is not a typo. It really is plural and was done intentionally. I did it for a reason. Well, 3 reasons really and I want to share them with you today.

The first reason being that you want to break the mindset that there is one and only one right way for you to eat. Don't think of yourself in terms of "Oh, I'm a Lo-Carber" or "Oh, I can't eat anything that has a J or T in the name." Eventually you will find a program to maintain your ideal weight but there will still be times when your goals change. There will be times where you want quick weight loss and one of the many weight loss programs will work better for those times.

A low carb diet can be great for dropping a few pounds and getting back into that little black dress for the big party. That same program may not suit you for maintaining your weight. Remember, you can't lose weight forever and if you are always eating like you are trying for weight loss you are not developing the right mindset for getting to your goal weight and maintaining it.

Once you find a few different programs that work for you, change them up as you want. Some weight loss programs are better than others depending on the situation. Go low carb for a month or two. Then enjoy a higher carb diet to get the most out of the holidays. There are no restrictions on what you can do with this and it can make life easier knowing that.

The second reason is that you will end up cutting out of your diet a whole bunch of healthy foods... forever. Many of those restricted foods have great health benefits when eaten as part of an overall sensible eating plan. Even donuts in moderation are good for the soul. I said in moderation, stop trying to rationalize that 1/2 dozen chocolate glazed donuts. There are not enough anti-oxidants in chocolate to justify it.

The third reason is that variety is the spice of life. Why reduce the pleasure in your life with unnecessary restrictions. When going out to eat or to a party you can't always control what is available. And once you start on the path of diet envy from watching other people enjoying themselves and you can't have one little taste it is hard to stay on track. Unless you have a medical or religious reason don't deprive yourself.

In addition to keeping things interesting you avoid some diet pitfalls. Do remember that your thought follow your actions. If you think one way and then do another you create emotional conflict. For example if you think of yourself as an "Anti-J/T Food" dieter and then have a Tuna steak for dinner followed up with some soothing Tea you may start mentally whipping yourself and that can derail your future efforts. You get enough grief from your parents don't start creating more problems for yourself.

Find a few different weight loss programs that work for you and use them when you like. Some are more adaptable to a maintenance diet than others and some can help you shed fat like magic. Ultimately, don't complicate your life through unnecessary restriction. Life is too short and you need the little pleasures along the way.

How To Have Positive Weight Loss Through Affirmations

These days we adopt diet plans or weight loss pills to get a perfect body. Unfortunately these methods are not very reliable. Either they fail, or if they do succeed, they are short-termed. We gain weight in no time and again we have to adopt these same methods to reduce excess fats. Alternately weight loss can be achieved through safe and natural way. The secret to achieve safe weight loss is through utilizing positive weight loss affirmations.

Positive weight loss affirmations act as a reprogramming software for the mind. They change your inner belief structure, by implanting any thought, either positive or negative, into our minds in the form of a pattern when repeated many times. Our subconscious then implements these pattern into our daily lives either leading to a positive or negative change. The reason that diet plans don't work well is that they may change your habits, but they rarely change your thought patterns. Positive weight loss affirmations work the opposite way, changing your beliefs to achieve better habits. Coincidentally, using positive weight loss affirmations works far more effectively over the long term than simple diet plans alone.

The first step towards achieving your goal is to get rid of all those negative thoughts, inner-belief and behaviors which leads to weight problem in the first place such as I am so fat or I am gaining weight everyday. These thoughts hold you back from gaining an ideal weight. Your mind makes your body to gain weight since the mind is lead to believe that these negative thoughts are true. Start to lose weight by adopting a positive attitude. The more positive thoughts you have, the closer you are to sliming down.

Second step, and probably the most important one, is to live in present. Instead of thinking about failures of the past learn to live in present and be determined to change what you could not achieve yesterday. Strengthen your self-image. Gain self-confidence. Believe in yourself and keep reminding yourself that you will loss weight or you feel lighter today. Build up your confidence as much you can by going out in public places with firm belief that you are one step closer to gaining ideal weight and you are already succeeding. This step involves implementing the beginnings of positive weight loss affirmations. By living and thinking in a way that presumes that you've already lost weight, your mind will begin to believe that it has already done so, making the process of actually losing weight with positive weight loss affirmations that much easier.

The wording you use is the key. You must use positive, simple and appropriate words for mind to accept. You must truly believe whatever you say and then feel the emotions building inside you. You must get your mind to think that the positive weight loss affirmation you make can be made true. Never for one moment think can it happen? Instead think it can happen or it is already happening.

The positive weight loss affirmation needs to be repeated over many times in order for natural weight loss technique to succeed. You should write down any positive thought you have on a card and review them daily most importantly first thing in the morning and before going to bed. Some physiologists have recommended that if you have any negative thought write it down on a piece of paper. Later at the end of the day review it and try to come up with a more realistic positive statement for example, instead of I am so fat you should think I feel lighter today. Whenever you think positive you are one step closer towards sliming and achieving your goal. Remember to create your own statement which your mind will actually believe to be true. Some examples of positive statement are given below:

    I'm losing weight now.
    I feel lighter today.
I love the feeling of making progress.
I love the food that makes me thin.
    Losing weight is effortless.
    I enjoy being healthy.
    I'm feeling happy today.
My body is getting stronger, slimmer, and healthier every day.

Stay positive and achieve your desired result safely and naturally. Utilization of positive weight loss affirmations, along with a good diet and exercise plan, is by far the fastest and easiest weight loss plan.

Soon enough you will see the results of the dramatic effect this pace increase has on your metabolism. We are talking about an increased feeling of wellness in addition to your weight loss. The Secret to a Healthy Weight

According to a recent article in Remedy Magazine, being a little overweight is not okay. After a ten-year study of more than 527,000 Americans between the ages of 50 and 71 scientists from the National Cancer Institute concluded that that overweight people (defined as having a body mass index (BMI) of 25 to 29) at age 50 can increase a persons mortality rate by 20 to 40 percent. An obese person (defined as having a BMI over 30 percent) boosted that risk between 200 and 300 percent!

The article went on to cite another study from Korea that looked at 1.2 million people between the ages of 30 and 91. In a twelve-year period overweight non-smokers were between 10 to 50 percent more likely to die from heart disease or cancer than normal weight non-smokers.

What these and other studies show is that when you are overweight you increase your risk of high blood pressure, heart disease, and other illnesses. Achieving your desired weight through a healthy life style reduces your risk.

So how do you achieve your healthy weight? The answer, as we all know is to eat less calories than you burn, but this answer is much too simplistic. Its too simplistic because dieting doesnt work. Diets tell us to eliminate foods from what we eat regularly, for example fats. The problem with low fat diets is that our bodies require fat. Fat stores fat soluble vitamins A, D, E and K. Fat also helps the body produce testosterone, which is the hormone that contributes to muscle growth and the burning of body fat. In fact studies have shown that men with higher levels of testosterone were 75 percent less likely to be obese than men with lower levels. This is primarily due to the bodys tendency to store fat when it has low levels of testosterone.

Some diets tell us to eliminate animal protein. While eating fatty cuts of red meat definitely is not good for you, eating lean cuts of animal protein actually helps your body burn more calories than eating protein from soy products.

Other diets tell us to restrict carbohydrates. There while there are many studies that have shown lowering our carbohydrate intake can help us control our weight, eliminating them is absolutely suicidal. Carbohydrates are essential to good health. Fruits, vegetables, whole grains and beans help protect us against cancer and other diseases. So, as you can see, dieting doesnt work.

Dieting in general doesnt work because it revolves around restricting what we eat. Weight management is a long-term project. Most people who lose weight quickly by crash dieting or by some other extreme measure usually gain back all or more - of the pounds they lost. Why? Because in order to permanently lose weight and keep it off a person has to change their eating and exercise habits. You see, the best weight management strategies are those that you can maintain for a lifetime. So a better question is how can you change your habits?

We have all tried to lose weight through willpower, cutting down on the calories and/or increasing the exercise. Some of us lose weight by eating almost nothing while working out like crazy. Others lose weight using crash diets. The problem is these methods never work and can also be dangerous.

Now why doesnt this work? Its because our subconscious image overcomes our conscious goals. Since our subconscious sees us as an overweight person as we begin to lose weight our subconscious starts the process of bringing us back to our correct image, undermining our conscious efforts.

To really change we first have to change our mindset about losing weight. Nobody likes to think of themselves as a loser. To gain a healthy weight you need to stop trying to lose weight and focus on a goal that is positive rather than negative. That goal is to be healthier, look better, and have more self esteem and confidence. In other words you want to have a better image of yourself.

How can you create this better image? A great method is through visualization, reprogramming your minds image of your body. One of the best ways to use visualization is through hypnosis, either self-hypnosis, or using a professional hypnotist.

How does hypnosis help? In a study published in the Journal of Clinical Psychology, 109 people were divided into two groups for a nine-week study. The first group was offered changes in their diet and more exercises without the addition of hypnosis. The second group was given the same diet and exercise program and also given hypnosis for reinforcement. After nine weeks both groups lost weight. But an interesting phenomenon happened between the eight month and two year follow ups. The group that didn't have the aid of hypnosis did not lose any more weight, and in most cases actually gained most of their original weight back. The hypnosis group continued to lose weight during both intervals and many actually met their long-term weight goals.

As mentioned before your body image is controlled by your subconscious. The key to helping you become healthier is to align your subconscious image with your conscious goals. That is how hypnosis can help because it goes directly to the subconscious and modifies it, aligning it with your positive conscious goals and making them possible.

Hypnosis teaches your subconscious the skills you need to help you control your appetite, while substituting your old diet for healthier foods and drinking water. It also motivates you to exercise. By visualizing your ideal body image you can anchor your eating and exercise habits toward achieving your imaged goal.

So thats the secret. It isnt magic, only good healthy habits adapted for a long healthy lifetime. Healthy eating habits coupled with a moderate exercise program anchored in your subconscious. So why not try hypnosis to change to a new, better image of yourself? It works!

Are You Over Weight? Want To Get Rid of That Extra Fat? Take a Look at This

I know how it feels to be an obese. I know that it really hurts you when you can wear nice designer clothes and go out with your friends; I know that it really hurts when you walk on streets and people look at you and make fun. Don't worry. I will take you on a journey of exercises and diet which will surely help you lose that extra pound.

I had read some where: "Love It or Hate It Lets Motivate Each Other to Do IT". It means to get motivated to workout more on the process to lose weight. Stick to a decision that you will lose weight in whatever way you thought of and will end up looking slim, fit and healthy.

Here are few tips and suggestions on exercises and nutrition:

The first thing that comes to my mind when I talk about losing weight is nutrition. You have to prepare your self on diet and nutrition for the rest of your life or there is a high chance of gaining that weight you had lost.

Cut off that high calorie and fast food. If you don't, you will not only put on extra weight but will also end up in many heart related problems. Completely reduce the intake of fat food from your daily meals. If you feel hungry and want to eat something all the time then grab an apple or an orange instead of a chocolate bar or a bag of chips. Avoid fat, sugar and alcohol in every way you can. Remember that many foods include hidden fat and sugar (eg: chocolate, full cream ice-cream). And the most important of all is to drink 8-10 glasses of water a day to stay fit and hydrated.

The second most important thing is exercises. Using exercises to lose weight can be a little tricky but with proper guidance and help you will surely see yourself very fit and healthy in future.

BE ACTIVE: I mean to say go on a brisk walk after your day's activities. It is a great way to burn off that rich dinner you ate! Take the stairs instead of elevator in your office and any other buildings you visit. Go on a short jog in the mornings or evenings. Swimming, skipping, running and some simple push-ups can also be a great exercise.

NO RIGOROUS ACTIVITY: Though aerobics and heavy exercises help you to lose that extra pound quickly, but they are not always recommended as you get too tired and at times become very restless.

Regular physical exercises are a part of effective weight control. It helps to control your weight by using excess calories that otherwise would be stored as fat.

Simple workouts like pushups, cardio, weight lifting, brisk walking, jogging and dancing (till you sweat) can help you a lot in reducing weight. And the most important of all is warm-ups. Do not forget to warm-up before and after your workouts as it helps in a good blood circulation process.
